Dr. Korompilas is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. His undergraduate and doctorate degree in dental surgery were completed at Loyola University of Chicago. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. He is a visiting lecturer at Georgetown Universities Oral and Maxillofacial Department as well as the chairman of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division, Department of Surgery, Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Korompilas has the unique distinction of having earned the highest honor available in his field, the Certification of Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Korompilas lectures both nationally as well as internationally and is looked upon as an authority by his peers in the field of dental implants and bone grafting. Dr. Korompilas is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. The American Association of Osseointegration, The Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and past-president of the Pan-Hellenic Dental Society.
